Hi there!

I’m My Tran, a young artist with a passion for oil painting, and I especially love portraits.

It is partly because I’m fascinated by people—their stories, their complexity, and their beauty. I believe that within each of us, there’s a mix of good and bad, beauty and flaws — and together, these create something uniquely human. To me, that blend is beautiful, and I try to reflect it in my paintings by telling the unique stories of the people I portray.

I’m also really interested in art history. Learning how art has evolved throughout time has had a big impact on my understanding of it, especially its role in shaping societies and expressing the human condition. I love the stories that art can tell and the feelings it can evoke. It amazes me how paintings from artists like Caravaggio or Vermeer still stir such strong emotions even centuries later. My goal is to contribute to that legacy in my own way, telling stories through my art that might inspire others in the future.

The pieces in my collection reflect my journey as an artist—my growth, my challenges, and everything I’ve learned along the way. I hope you find something in them that resonates with you.
